THE WORLD OF SEAH HAIRSPA

womensnet: Where did the idea come from to develop a hair care line inspired by a spa philosophy?

Sonja Damrau: The term “spa” stands in our society for beauty and anti-stress therapy – a place to unwind, to meditate and re-energise mind, body and soul. What could be more fitting than to adapt this principle for hair?  So we developed SEAH HAIRSPA, the first hair care series to pamper hair with the singular experience of a spa treatment.

womensnet: What is so special about the SEAH HAIRSPA line?

Sonja Damrau: The new SEAH HAIRSPA line is special due to its winning combination of performance and pampering for daily luxury.  This means: The newest high quality ingredients, such as the active ingredient AMARANTH oil, are paired with moisturising formulas, a sensual fragrance and luxurious design.  This spa experience is rounded out at the hair salon with a relaxing scalp massage that is specially tailored to the needs of each client and creates a veritable feast for the senses.

womensnet: What is secret of AMARANTH oil?

Sonja Damrau: The legendary AMARANTH plant is known as the Gold of the Incas and has been used as a healing remedy and beauty treatment for thousands of years.  Now it has been rediscovered for hair cosmetics.  Amaranth Oil introduces a new generation of indulgent yet weightless hair care: Like a puzzle-piece, it fits deeply and precisely into the hair structure, as its lipid composition and shape matches largely that of natural and healthy hair.  This precision avoids overburdening the hair, leaving it perfectly cared for but feeling weightless.

womensnet: Which SEAH ingredients create an experience of luxury?

Sonja Damrau: With each use, the new SEAH HAIRSPA line gives you the feeling that you are doing something good for yourself and leaving the everyday behind.  An important component are the sensuous textures and luxurious ingredients, such as Japanese cherry, wild rose, lotus blossom and cashmere.  The fragrance in particular stimulates the senses.  A combination of Thai bamboo, water lily and orchid, enhanced with musk and sandalwood, make the SEAH spa experience a wellness journey for the senses.

womensnet: What products are available from SEAH HAIRSPA and what do they do?

Sonja Damrau: The SEAH HAIRSPA line consists of six different ranges that respond to the needs of different hair types.  In addition to the familiar lines for dry, coloured, stressed and sophisticated hair, two new lines have been added to the SEAH family, which perfectly round out the range: a new straightening care line developed for frizzy and unmanageable hair and a line with HAIRSPA products for special hair and scalp needs.

womensnet: What is your favourite product from SEAH HAIRSPA?

Sonja Damrau: It’s difficult to choose, but my favourite product at the moment is the Fango Mud.  This smoothing and detoxifying mask for greasy, fine or porous hair is applied to hair when it is dry.  You rinse it out after five minutes and then bathe your hair in a shampoo formulated for your hair type.  Your hair will feel wonderfully supple and soft.

womensnet: What do you like best about the SEAH HAIRSPA range?

Sonja Damrau: Definitely the ideal combination of performance and pampering for daily luxury.  After all, who doesn’t allow themselves a short time out in the midst of day-to-day stress to catch their  breath and summon up energy for the next day?  SEAH has been developed exactly for these moments.  The clearly arranged structure of the range makes it easy for the hairdresser to give his or her clients an individual consultation and find the ideal product for them.
