Ginger as a hangover cure
This spice can do more than just add an exotic note to your food.
Along with its characteristic flavour, ginger is distinctive for its healing properties. Hidden inside these knots is a veritable firework of vitamins and minerals like cilium, calcium and iron as well as substantial essential oils.
Ginger milk, for example, is invaluable for colds. Bring ¼ litre of milk to a boil with a teaspoon of ginger paste. Sweeten with honey, if desired, and drink. Ginger is also helpful for travel sickness – therefore, always keep a stick in your travel bag. Nausea will disappear only after a few minutes. Party animals should chew on a bit of ginger while consuming alcohol. The next morning, they can rest assured they will wake up without that debilitating headache.
