Massage for your hair

Do something good for your hair and massage your scalp at least twice a week. Making gentle circular movements with your fingertips stimulates circulation, which in turn promotes growth in the hair roots. Try the following: Spread out your hands and place fingertips on the scalp. Massage using circular movements, from the forehead towards the back to the neck and back. Or tap the scalp lightly with your fingertips over the entire head, just as you would impatiently tap on a tabletop your fingers.

“Egg-straordinary” benefits for your hair

Eggs are a delicious ingredient in many dishes. They not only taste good, but are also good for your hair! Try this home treatment for dry or stressed hair as an alternative to shampoos and conditioners you can buy in stores: Mix an egg yolk with a bit of olive oil and apply to hair. Let the mixture take effect for a few minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Your hair will once again look shiny and healthy.

Angel for a day: Get beautiful curls with micro braids

Would you like to transform your straight hair into luscious curls? Or swap your soft waves for a crimped look? Become an angel for a day – well, at least optically speaking – with this braiding technique: Wash at least shoulder length hair and towel dry. Wrap strands into thin braids and let dry overnight. Remove braids in the morning and comb through carefully with a wide toothed comb. Spray entire style with hairspray (e.g. from Taft) for a long lasting waves. Our tip for additional hold: Apply styling mousse before braiding.

Tips for easier styling

· Hair should only be somewhat damp before styling. The critical point is the transition from wet to dry – then hair will do whatever you wish.

· Begin with the contours. After all, these are the parts which can be seen.

· First blow dry hair on top, then the hair underneath. Picture your head as a large diamond. Here too, the most visible section of your hair is most important!
